Power Utilities

Insulation safety is a top priority for workers in close contact with power transmission and other electrical equipment. For safety purposes, electrical tapes used in power transmission or supply applications must exhibit excellent stability, flame retardancy, and superior voltage and aging resistance at various voltage levels.

Avery Dennison Yongle produces professional grade electrical tapes that offer insulation and maintenance protection in power industry applications. Our professional grade PVC tapes are lead-free and environmentally friendly, and maintain their effectiveness in temperatures ranging from -18 C to 105 C. They provide strong resistance to UV light, humidity, acids and alkalis, corrosion and harsh climates. The tapes are used for cable jacketing repair and protection below 600V outdoors in low-temperature environments, and for color coding cables.

In addition, Avery Dennison Yongle offers various specialty tapes, including rubber, waterproof mastic and EMI-shielded copper tapes. Rubber tapes deliver high adhesion and sealing performance, and are resistant to chemicals, weather and corrosion. They are mainly used for insulation and repairing splices on power cables of 600V-69kV, and jacketing protection for middle and indirect terminals. Mastic tapes have good flexibility, an advantage in sealing applications. Copper tapes are flexible, tough and durable with high temperature resistance and good EMI shielding capabilities.
